Fitna al Khwarij have been killed after they targeted Police Training School, Dera Ismail Khan in a cowardly terrorist attack.The vigilant and resolute Law Enforcement Agencies personnel deployed on duty foiled the nefarious attempt of the assailants to breach the perimeter security. In their desperation, the attackers rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the gate.
Three Khwarij were killed by police personnel while remaining two were cornered in a building complex and were later neutralized by security forces in a clearance operation with precision
In this intense exchange of fire, 6 brave policemen including trainees, after putting up a heroic fight, embraced Shahadat in the line of duty, while twelve policemen and one innocent civilian got injured.
According to ISPR, Khwarij also attacked the mosque inside School complex and not only desecrated the Holy Place of worship but also barbarically killed the Imam Masjid who was an innocent civilian performing duties of mosque’s Imam.
The sanitization operations in the area would continue and perpetrators of this heinous and cowardly act will be brought to justice.
